Our yarn supplier is GotTs certified and supports the 10 principles of the global compact of the United Nations. They fight for better human working conditions, environmental standards, and fight against corruption and the exploitation of greenwashing. Through the "Cottonforlife" project the collaborate with the cotton research institute in Cairo, Egypt to promote scientific research on cotton. The yarn suppliers technicians work directly with the cotton growers to ensure a better quality product and to test new technologies. Collaborating with the Egyptian ministry of education they help promote employment of younger working adults. They also provide books for the agricultural and textile schools.
