At Wolf vs Goat, we’ve always believed that clothing can do more than cover the body…
It can make real change.
The way a piece is made matters. The people behind it matter. And when a brand has the ability to create comfort, it should also find ways to extend that comfort to those who need it most.
This winter, we’re proud to announce the WvG Beanie & Scarf Charity Drive, running November 27 through December 23, in collaboration with the Kiwanis Brooklyn Division. For every beanie and scarf purchased at retail price during this period, we will donate one beanie and one scarf to children at St. Jude’s Ranch for Children in Boulder City, Nevada.
It’s a simple equation:
You buy one.
A child receives one.
And together, we help spread warmth and dignity where it’s needed most.
Why This Matters to Us
WvG has never been a “seasonal trend” brand. We’ve always been about thoughtful production, slow fashion, and relationships; not just between garments and their wearers, but between brands and their communities.
This charity drive is just one part of the same core principles that guide how we design and manufacture everything we make:
1. Ethical Production Starts With People
We’ve always believed that the hands who knit, sew, and finish our garments deserve respect, fair compensation, and safe working environments.
WvG built its reputation on small-batch, human-scaled production, and we partner only with workshops that value their teams the same way we value ours.
Warmth begins long before a scarf ever reaches your neck; it begins with the people who make it.
2. Quality Without Cruelty
WvG has long stood against shortcuts that compromise ethics.
Our wool sourcing is cruelty-free, our supply chain remains transparent, and our commitment to non-exploitative practices is non-negotiable. We make garments we can be proud of, and that you can feel good wearing.
Supporting children with donated winter accessories aligns naturally with that philosophy.
When you treat animals humanely, honor labor, and create pieces designed to last, building generosity into your brand isn’t an add-on; it’s a continuation.
3. Clothing Should Make the World Warmer
A well-made beanie keeps someone warm. A well-made brand makes the world warmer. This year, we felt compelled to use our winter accessories as a bridge between our community and children who could use a bit more comfort in their lives.
St. Jude’s Ranch for Children provides care, stability, and hope for children and young adults facing adversity. If a small act, like receiving a soft, new beanie or scarf, helps them feel seen, valued, and protected, then every stitch is worth it.
How You Can Participate
The process is simple:
-
Purchase any WvG beanie or scarf at retail price between Nov 27 and Dec 23.
-
For each beanie or scarf sold at retail value, we donate a matching beanie and scarf to St. Jude’s Ranch for Children.
-
We handle all shipping, coordination, and delivery so every donation reaches the kids safely and on time.
That’s it. Warmth doubled, kindness multiplied.
A Season to Show What Ethical Fashion Really Means
Ethical fashion isn’t just about sourcing. It isn’t just about labor. It’s about the choices we make as a brand: the way we engage with our community, the accountability we uphold, and the humanity we try to embody in everything we produce.
This holiday season, we invite you to help us extend that ethos outward.
A beanie can’t solve everything. But it can keep a child warm.
A scarf can’t rewrite the past. But it can make the present a little softer.
And together, we can show what small-batch, ethically minded fashion can accomplish when it remembers its purpose.
